Court Equipment
Set up a game anywhere with portable nets and court gear for the backyard, park or beach. Pair it with a beach volleyball and you're ready for pickup.
How to choose: portable pole-and-net systems are easiest for casual and beach play; measure your space and check regulation height if you're training seriously.
For adult competition, the net is set at 2.43 m (7 ft 11 5/8 in) for men and 2.24 m (7 ft 4 1/8 in) for women, measured at the centre of the court. Youth and school leagues often use lower heights depending on age group, so check your association's rules. Find competition and institutional nets in our court equipment.
The right length depends on the distance between your posts. A 32-foot net is the most common choice for full-size indoor courts in school and club gyms, while a 30-foot net fits shorter post spacing and some beach or outdoor setups. Measure the distance between your posts before ordering. Our 360 Athletics institution, Olympic and game nets come in both 30' and 32' lengths.
Institution nets are durable, everyday nets for school gyms and recreation centres. Competition and tournament nets, like the 360 Athletics Olympic and Reversible Tournament nets or the Trigon Sports Pro Volleyball Net, use a tensioned steel or synthetic top cable for a tight, consistent net. Kevlar nets, like the 360 Athletics World Pro Kevlar Net, add a very strong, low-stretch cable for high-level play.
For casual games at home, the cottage or a family gathering, a complete set is the easiest option. The Franklin Family Volleyball Set includes what you need to set up a net quickly, and the Franklin Quad Volleyball Net lets four teams play at once around a central post. Add a durable outdoor ball from our beach volleyballs and you're ready to play.
